Cookies, Online Analytics, and Tailored Advertising
Cookies and Other Similar Technologies
As described above, we and our third-party vendors may use cookies, web beacons, pixels, and other similar technologies on our websites and in certain communications with you (for example, emails may contain web beacons, as described above). Cookies are small text files stored on your browser or device. They perform various functions, including enabling the website to function properly, allowing you to stay logged in to your account, personalizing the website (for example, remembering your language preference), helping us analyze website usage, and assisting with advertising and marketing our products and services. Web beacons and pixels run in your browser or email program and can perform actions on your device (such as reading and writing cookies) and send information from your device to us or third parties. They help us with various activities, including tracking email response rates, identifying when our emails are viewed or forwarded, measuring or improving the success of our marketing campaigns, and providing information about your device, your actions on it, and your interactions with the website.
Some of our third-party vendors may also associate information collected through cookies, pixels, and similar technologies with other information about you (such as your email address or mailing address) to assist us with marketing efforts. We may use this information to send you marketing communications via email or direct mail. If you do not want us to collect this information, please contact us using the contact information in the "Contact Us" section below or visit the opt-out section in "My Privacy Choices" to opt out.
Most browsers automatically accept cookies, but you can modify your browser settings to decline cookies or notify you when a cookie is set. You may not be able to opt out of "essential" or "strictly necessary" cookies that are required for the proper functioning of the website. If you choose to decline cookies, you may not be able to log in or use certain features offered on our website, and the website may not function as intended. If you have multiple devices/browsers or change devices/browsers, or if your browser automatically clears cookies, you will need to disable cookies for each such computer or browser and may need to re-opt in each time you visit the website.
2. Online Analytics
We may use third-party web analytics services, such as Google Analytics, on our website. These analytics services use cookies and other similar technologies (as described above) to help us analyze website usage, including recording which third-party website you came from. The information collected by these technologies will be disclosed to or collected directly by these services, who will use this information to evaluate your use of the website and your online behavior. Some state laws may consider our sharing of your personal information with Google to be a "sale" of your personal information. You can opt out of having us sell your personal information in "My Privacy Choices."
We cannot control Google's use of your information. We recommend that you visit Google's privacy policy (https://policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites) to learn how to control Google's collection and use of your information. You can learn how Google collects and uses your information through this website (https://myactivity.google.com/). To prevent Google from using your information for Google Analytics, you can install the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on (https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout).
3. Tailored Advertising
We may allow third parties (including ad networks, ad servers, and other advertising partners) to place cookies or other similar technologies (as described above) on your browser or device to collect information about you to help deliver advertising related to our products and services or other products and services on other websites you visit and other online services you use. These ads may be based on your current activity or your activity over time and on other websites and online services, and may be tailored to your interests. For example, if you visit our website, you may see ads for our website on other websites you visit. Some state laws refer to this as targeted advertising or cross-context behavioral advertising. You can opt out of targeted advertising and cross-context behavioral advertising in "My Privacy Choices."
We do not have access to cookies or other similar technologies that third parties may place on your device when you access the website from a website or app not controlled by us, and this policy does not govern those technologies. If you would like to learn more about tailored browser advertising and how to control cookies from being placed on your computer to deliver tailored ads, you can visit the Digital Advertising Alliance ("DAA") Consumer Choice page or the Network Advertising Initiative ("NAI") Consumer Opt-Out page for more information and to opt out of receiving tailored ads from companies participating in the DAA and NAI programs. You can also opt out of Google Analytics for Display Advertising or the Google Display Network using Google's Ads Settings.
Opting out from one or more of the companies listed on the DAA Consumer Choice Page or the NAI Consumer Opt-Out Page will prevent you from receiving interest-based content or advertising from those companies through the browser in which you opted out. This does not mean you will no longer receive any advertising through our websites or other websites. Additionally, if you replace, change, upgrade, or reset your browser or device, or delete your cookies, or use a browser that automatically clears cookies, you may need to re-use these opt-out tools. For more information, visit the DAA and NAI websites. We do not control the DAA and NAI opt-out mechanisms and make no representations about their effectiveness or continued availability.
4. Do Not Track/Universal Opt-Out
Do Not Track is a privacy preference that users can set in their browsers. Because the internet industry is still developing standards, implementation, and solutions for Do Not Track, we currently do not recognize or respond to browser-generated Do Not Track signals. We will continue to monitor the availability of tools that provide universal opt-out mechanisms. Please note that Do Not Track is different from the legally recognized Global Privacy Control opt-out signal described below.
Your browser may provide a way to activate the Global Privacy Control signal ("GPC"). Our website recognizes GPC opt-out signals from eligible browsers, indicating that users have activated the GPC signal to opt out of targeted advertising, the sale of personal information, or both. Any opt-out preferences you exercise through these means apply only to the specific device/browser on which you set those preferences. Additionally, you can override our processing of GPC on a browser that has GPC enabled by clearing your cookies or using a browser that automatically clears cookies. In such cases, such "selling" or "sharing" through cookies and similar technologies may resume on that browser. For more information about GPC, please visit www.globalprivacycontrol.org.
Children's Privacy
Individuals under the age of 18 are not authorized to use the Service. We do not knowingly or intentionally collect "personal information" (as defined in the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act) from children under the age of 13. If you believe that we have collected personal information from a child, please contact us at Support@blueperiod.shop.
Third-Party Links
This website may contain links to third-party websites or services. We are not responsible for the content or practices of those websites or services. The collection, use, and disclosure of your personal information by third parties will be governed by the privacy policy of that third-party website or service, not this Privacy Policy. We encourage you to review the privacy and security policies of third parties before providing information to them.
Changes to Privacy Policy
We reserve the right to update this Privacy Policy at any time. You can check when this Privacy Policy was last updated by checking the "Effective Date" at the top of this Policy. We may provide you with notice of material changes to the Privacy Policy, as appropriate. Unless otherwise stated, any changes to this Privacy Policy will be effective immediately upon posting to the Website. Your continued use of the Services constitutes your acknowledgment and agreement to the posted Privacy Policy.
